Focused on partnering with the commercial business executives, your role as Finance Analyst will see you liaising with key internal stakeholders in a hands on role. With in depth analysis and reporting, this role reports to the FP&A Manager and is key to delivering meaningful and accurate reporting to drive business decisions, mergers & acquisitions, and profitability.

Description
As Finance Analyst your role will be focused around being a strong support function to senior stakeholders in the business. Working together with the FP&A Manager, you will provide key financial insights through improved and refined key reporting metrics.
Your role will include providing detailed management and business reporting including budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting including KPIs, analysis of monthly results and commercial analysis. This role sees you interacting with different business units and the Executive to ensure the financial planning and analysis is continuously evolving to further support the performance of the business. You will also offer commercial insights into risk, trends, and opportunities to further support business growth.
Another exciting aspect of this business is contributing towards new strategic initiatives and decision making regarding mergers and acquisitions. This role requires someone with sound business acumen that not only talks through the financial model and scenarios but actually provides real and tangible business insights into the meaning behind the numbers.
Profile
- You will need to be CA / CPA qualified and currently form part of a finance team within a commercial organisation with multiple stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- With a minimum 5 years experience, your background includes working in a similar management accounting role within the commercial sector. A big 4 auditing background is also highly favourable.
- This role could also be ideal for a Big 4 first mover looking to apply their skills within a the commercial sector i in a Finance Analyst role.
Due to the nature of their work, Australian Citizens with the eligibility to obtain a AGSVA security clearance are a requirement for this role.
