An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading property/tech firm based in central London.

My client is an international, leading property/tech company growing rapidly and based in central London.

Description

This is a highly broad and varied role, specifically the Finance Manager will take responsibility for the below:

• Drive improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function
• Improve the quality of the management reporting and facilitate real business insight
• Production, analysis and investigation of the monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Production, analysis and investigation of annual budget and monthly re-forecast
• Production, analysis and investigation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts for London
• Ensure power recovery is in line with business KPIs and perform close review of the billing process
• Ensure business rates recovery and rebates are in line with business KPIs and perform close review of the billing process
• Perform deferred revenue and straight-lining controls in Yardi
• Liaise closely with local auditors to ensure audit evidence is complete
• Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliation process
• Monitor accruals and prepayments
• Monitor capex expenditure
• Prepare VAT returns and reconciliations
• Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax schedules
• Assist with identifying KPIs, implementing, monitoring and reporting on the results
• Liaise with Group to implement real business insight and consistency

Profile

The successful Finance Manager will have the following credentials:

• Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Ideally practice based training & 2 years industry experience in either financial reporting or management reporting capacity
• Line management
• Real estate and property experience desirable
• Experience with Yardi desirable
• Competent with Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical skills & highly numerate
• High level business English
• Commercially aware
• Excellent attention to detail
• Problem solver
• Flexible

Job Offer

Basic salary up to £70,000 depending on experience in addition to the listed benefits below:
