The Amazon Music Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to cover two key areas of responsibility: 1) to partner with the India Music business team; and 2) to partner with the European Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a high-growth stage and have ownership of all associated finance functions, including developing short- and long-term business goals, financial forecasts/analyses and measuring business performance. This position will work closely with business teams to provide decision support. The role will also include forecasting and providing financial controllership to a large, fast growing, and complex media business.
This role requires a self-starter with strong business acumen, a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners. This role has regular interaction with various business units across Amazon Music and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Partner with the India Amazon Music business team on all aspects of the business to grow Amazon Music Prime
• Partner with the Marketing team in Europe on driving customer acquisition and retention
• Lead period planning and forecasting efforts for Amazon Music Prime in India
• Work with the Marketing and Music Industry teams on measurement and efficiency of marketing, original content and editorial spend
• Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances
• Work closely with shared services team in India on centralized financial processes

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
• 5+ years finance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or other post graduate financial certification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
• Customer focus and professional demeanor
• Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
• Solid business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic, approach to the business
• Independent and entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction
