Business Solutions Group ("BSG") is an initiative in Tax PIC team with the following twin objectives:
  • Identify corporate finance opportunities borne out of tax, accounting or regulatory related inefficiencies
  • Provide the firm's clients with structuring solutions to tax, accounting or regulatory issues facing their business

    • BSG combines tax & accounting structuring with corporate finance and capital raising in an effort to conceptualize commercial transactions for existing and new clients.

    We are now looking for a Structuring & Execution Executive, with a Tax & Accounting focus.

    Key Objectives:
    • Provide BSG with domestic and cross border tax analysis (including tax research) to identified structuring opportunities, including working closely with technical KPMG teams both onshore and offshore
    • Work closely with DPP to identify latest trends and issues in Financial Reporting with a view to identifying market opportunities; preferably in parallel with tax advantages
    • Work with counterpart team member focusing on corporate finance to either:
      • commercialise tax & accounting opportunities identified with focus on seeking structuring alternatives/work around mechanisms, or
      • provide tax & accounting support to commercial issues facing prospective or existing clients
    • Research market opportunities from market studies, online searches or tapping on the firm's expertise both onshore and offshore
    • Work with counterpart team member focusing on corporate finance to prepare presentation material to illustrate key tax and accounting concepts and their application to commercial opportunity at hand
    • In due course, present commercial opportunities to partners and directors of the firm as well as to prospective and current clients
    • Provide support in executing transaction opportunities with a focus on tax and accounting aspects of the transaction
