The role is responsible for enable SOP forecast/True-up/Prior Year Adjustment, when there is needed, of Global Service Desk recharges.
This role is part of BAT Digital Business Solutions IDT Finance.
Reports to: Reporting Services Manager P&R
Reporting Level: Individual Contributor
Geographic Scope: Regional and Global
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Coordinate IT & SAP users reporting and variance explanation of the current year vs current year+1 (engage with Regional Finance Business Partners for comments)
- Manage end to end Regional One IT and TaO recharges calculation and process
- Provide support to colleagues and oversee the forecast input of Global Service Desk recharges
- Ensure recharges billing are done on time and in full including Regional one IT
- Ensure contracts are in place for fixed recharges so that billings are done in time and no recharges are done without having a contract in place
- WHT tax process related to recharges – actuals and forecast and alignment to “bible” from tax – reconciliation with tax
- Provide support to the manager for potential queries related to recharges from Tax, external auditors or end markets
- Provide support to Continuous improvement team
- Update TLDs accordingly if any change in the current process and ensure TLDs are maintained up to date
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Sound financial background with a professional accountancy qualification, relevant university degree or ACCA
- Practical experience in applying this finance knowledge in business projects & change process implementations as well as managing financial results (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of IFRS and group reporting procedures and policies
- Excellent spreadsheet and general computer skills, including SAP
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Business Partnering skills; the role incumbent must have ability to develop good working relationship with key stakeholders
- Crafting & maintaining a sound control environment within Finance function & across the business.
