This is a purchase ledger role that will focus on key accounts and supplier statement reconciliation. The role is for 12 months, based in Bolton and is offering between £21,000 to £23,500 equivalent per hour.

Duties will include:

  • Full reconciliation of key accounts as per the Supplier Statement Rec (SSR) Policy
  • Managing supplier accounts
  • Re-educate Suppliers on Invoice Compliance
  • Working with Procurement to re-educate the Business Users
  • Responding and resolving any issues
  • Working with PTP Associates and wider Business to solve the issues
  • Supporting month end reconciliations
  • Supporting internal and external audit requests
  • Support improvement initiatives and maintain the integrity of the systems
  • Ad hoc duties


The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in accounts payable/Procure to pay - essential
  • Have knowledge across Procure to Pay processes - essential
  • Have experience working within a multi-site business - desirable
  • Have experience working within a Shared Service Centre - desirable
  • Be able to independently and as part of a team, to tight deadlines - desirable
  • Have an excellent level of IT skills including intermediate / advanced MS Excel - desirable

This role is offering up to £23,500
