SYSTEMS ACCOUNTANT - SHIPPING - £55,000 TO £60,000 - 9 MONTH FTC

Client Details

My client is a marketing leading shipping company who operate in over 30 countries around the world. Due to a period of growth, they are looking to streamline and update their current accounting systems.

Description

This role will be responsible for preparing all documentation in regard to training and supporting the finance systems manager in delivering training and support to the business through the system implementation.

The successful candidate is expected to have a good understanding of transactional level processes within P2P, O2C and RTR. Furthermore this individual will have previous experience working with accounting systems within a multinational business.

Tasks include:

• Drafting training manual and materials for the new accounting system
• Assisting in delivering online training seminars to the business
• Complete ad hoc tasks
• Build strong relationships with colleagues across the business
• Support with any additional systems testing requirements

Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or overseas equivalent)
• Significant experience preparing/presenting material on accounting systems in a large company
• Expertise working with an ERP system
• Great understanding of transactional level accounting processes (P2P, O2C, R2R)
• Immediately available or available at a short notice period (1 week)
