Interested candidates must have consolidation knowledge and experience, with a keen interest in managing consolidation of accounts of Public Listed companies and across multiple industries.Candidates with experience working in big/medium audit firms are encouraged to apply.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
- To provide timely & accurately Group reporting to Bursa, Audit Committee & Board of Director on quarterly & yearly basis, ensuring compliance of corporate governance by Public Listed Company
- To ensure the Group is compliance with MFRS & Listings requirements
- Provide advisory role to BUFC & FSSC when any new accounting treatment especially from new accounting standards.
- Annual review and assess the long outstanding payables aging in compliance for unclaimed moneys act
- Annual submission for Country by country report - Australia, Indonesia & Vietnam for tax authority compliance
- Liaison with business units Finance, FSSC and external parties to ensure timely and quality preparation of Group financial statements and Board reports.
- To drive efficiency and effectiveness in Sunway Group's financial reporting (quarterly and yearly), increase accuracy, zero consolidation mistake and minimise classification issue
- Post mortem review and analysis for all the customised Financial Consolidation System reports, to ensure the accuracy of reporting
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting Or ACCA Or equivalent
- Qualified accountant, ie. MIA/CPA/ACCA member
- At least 5 - 6 years related working experience which at least 4 years from medium/big audit firm
- Consolidation knowledge and experience are required
- Working experience at Public listed company and Bursa reporting will be added advantage
