About you

We're looking for a Finance Manager to support our amazing food operations across Australia and New Zealand. The role will be based in Pyrmont, Sydney.

You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, work in a friendly and supportive team environment and have exposure to all aspects of the business. This role requires detailed reviews and financial analysis, complex and regular engagement with the Managers to identify and drive value across the business.

The great things you will do

• Planning: Oversee the process, modelling, data validation and analysis to achieve accurate and driver-based forecasts supported by the right narrative.
• Reporting: responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of reporting requirements for Compass Group. (Across organizations)
• Performance: Business Partner to key operational stakeholders to drive insights and data-driven decisions. This includes the establishment of and monitoring of internal performance scorecards.
• Compliance /Governance: Oversight on governance and compliance around invoicing and contracts. This includes internal audits.
• Efficiency/ Productivity - Supporting efficiency and productivity initiatives in the operations by establishing effective controls, monitoring and sharing best practices across the region.

What we look for in the perfect candidate

• 3+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree and above in a Maths, Finance or Management field with professional work experience in a relevant field.
• Strong business partnering skills and working closely with operations teams.
• Strong Data analysis skill.
• Work well with cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic environment.
• Working knowledge of Google Docs, Slides.
• Expert level - MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
