Supporting the Principal Finance business in Advisory and Capital Solutions, our Operations team is responsible for the middle office management of our global corporate portfolio, from pre-settlement to termination.

Principal Finance provides flexible primary financing solutions and engages in secondary market investing, across the capital structure. Operating globally in both corporate and real estate sectors, the team has experience across a variety of industry groups including real estate, infrastructure, telecommunications, media, entertainment and technology, leisure and healthcare. The team operates globally through offices in Sydney, Singapore, London, New York, San Francisco and Chicago.

This role is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast paced business and gain global exposure to a range of investing products and structures and will see you working directly with senior front office deal teams and other internal functions to ensure the ongoing successful of the business. This will involve:

Management Reporting and Analysis
  • business performance and portfolio reporting
  • transaction returns tracking and reporting
  • portfolio monitoring oversight and coordination
  • portfolio and transaction analysis and insight

Capital Management
  • regulatory capital reporting, analysis and insight
  • regulatory capital treatment oversight

Cost Management
  • business cost reporting, analysis and insight
  • implementation of cost management processes

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • a tertiary qualification with an excellent academic record, preferably in Finance and/or Accounting. A post graduate qualification in Finance and/or Accounting will be an advantage.
  • Ideally you will have 1 - 2 years of experience within banking or financial services in a similar or related role.
  • Exposure to financial products and regulatory capital in a banking environment.
  • Experience in providing business information, analysis and insight in a highly data driven environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment and maintain a network of contacts whilst being assertive in meeting your objectives
  • You will be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, the ability to remain organised in a dynamic environment and work independently. You will possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with strong numerical ability.
  • Tenacity and determination to succeed and have a high attention to detail.
