Description
- Experience preparing and reviewing both Statutory and Management accounts.
- Team management responsibilities.
- Providing information to Senior Client Account Manager to aid annual appraisal.
- Mentoring the Assistant Client Account Manager.
- Assisting with representing the firm externally.
- Account preparation and submission to Gov.uk and HMRC respectively for Limited Companies, Sole traders, Partnerships.
- Reviewing and submitting VAT returns.
- Liaising with HMRC over clients' tax enquiries.
- Developing client relationships through excellent communication skills and liaising directly with clients to assist in resolving queries and working as a trusted advisor.
- Implementation and maintenance of procedures and processes in the accounts department.
- Carrying out ad hoc duties as requested by the Head of Accounts.
Profile
- ACA / ACCA Fully Qualified.
- Experience of working in an accountancy practice is essential.
- Experience using Xero is essential.
- Experience reviewing both Management and Statutory accounts is essential.
- Previous experience managing a team is desirable.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
Job Offer
Competitive salary between £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
