Make an impact with our assurance team as a Manager in our Real Estate and Construction Niche. Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading engagement teams to complete audits, reviews, compilations, and tax compliance engagements
• Collaborate with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
• Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
• Deliver industry and technical expertise through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables
• Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks and ways to deliver added value; ensuring their needs are met and that relationships and accounts grow and develop
• Maintain high quality control by reviewing work performed by other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
• Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable
• Network and take a leadership role in the local professional, business, and community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
• Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews

Skills and Experience

• CPA designation
• 4 to 5 years of public accounting experience with Real Estate and Construction experience considered an asset
• Extensive knowledge of and experience working with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises
• Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
• Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
