What you’ll achieve

As a Credit Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for employing complex statistical analysis that quantitatively estimates the probability of a loss occurring and the probable amount of the loss.

You will:

• Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures for investigating and evaluating new and existing customer creditworthiness and extending or revoking credit lines/limits.
• Monitors portfolio performance for all relationships to ascertain the viability of each source.
• Reviews and approves/declines credit proposals within approved credit authority.
• Contributes to the managing of delinquent accounts and addresses credit related issues.
• Highlights negative credit trends and recommends the appropriate course of action.
• Assesses and evaluates customer credit risk through in-depth business and financial analysis.
• Interfaces with customers to resolve credit related issues, including on-site visits where appropriate.
• Provides assistance and advice to sales organization with regard to structuring deals with a view to maximizing the commercial opportunity without compromising credit quality standards.
• Participates in the compilation of activity or portfolio metric reports. Completes annual customer and vendor reviews where large exposures dictate.
• Monitors portfolio performance for all relationships to ascertain the viability of each source.
• Serves as liaison with other departments, customers and third parties to obtain necessary credit information and documentation
• Updates more senior level team members on status of accounts Investigates and analyzes credit risks using available and credit tools and information

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business with a Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
