As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for overlooking the preparation of the monthly management accounts and development of the management accounts team. Supporting the FP&A, Tax and Treasury teams and the wider business with finance.
Key responsibilities:

  • Line management and development of the management accounts team.
  • Ownership of the monthly management accounts and preparation of the Board Pack financials for the FP&A team.
  • Supporting the management accounts team in the preparation of the balance sheet reconciliations and review of the teams reconciliations.
  • Supporting stock and margin management accountant with reporting monthly transactions and investigation of any variances. Presenting the month end margin accurately to senior management.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and review of wider teams reconciliations. Supporting the wider finance team with reconciliation process to meet business deadlines.
  • Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
  • Supporting the FP&A team on the budget and reforecast process.
  • Preparation of schedules and supporting the Financial Accountant with year-end audit and tax requirements
  • Continuous review of finance systems and processes, identifying weaknesses and managing change process.
  • Providing cover for Financial Accountant, where required.


Key Experience

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified with two to six years post qualified experience.
  • Strong team management experience required.
  • Advanced Excel skills, vlookups, pivots, sumif.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to liaise confidently and effectively at all levels of the business and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated individual with a proven ability to prioritise effectively.
