The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients' investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

As part of the Global Markets Operations Centre (GMOC), the Product Accounting Group provides critical BAU, new business initiative and project support for product accounting configurations in Global Markets platforms across multiple locations.

As part of the Global Markets Operations Centre (GMOC), the Product Accounting Group provides critical BAU, new business initiative and project support for product accounting configurations in Global Markets platforms across multiple locations.
As the team lead, it involves working closely with Business stakeholders, Global Markets Business Finance, GMOC Operations and Technology to:
- Determine the accounting requirements of a product lifecycle, define accounting rules, drive testing and implementation of New Product Initiatives and projects
- Work with business stakeholders, operations users, business finance and project teams on accounting configuration matters
- Provide subject matter expertise on accounting functionalities in New Product Program and Pretrade Approval Group assessments
- Interface with business finance in the implementation of accounting treatment and schemas
- Provide support on GMOC accounting reconciliation and operations matters
Job Requirements
- Strong accounting domain knowledge
- Ability to translate accounting requirements into application ledger postings
- Analytical, detailed and proactive attitude
- Good knowledge in Global Markets products
- Experience in Global Markets platform (e.g. Murex) preferred
