The Security and Fraud Prevention team in Banking and Financial Services has an opportunity for a Fraud Technology Business Analyst.

In this role you will implement Fraud Technology to enables Banking and Financial Services to detect, prevent, respond to threats targeting our brand and our customers.

You will be engaging with business and technology stakeholders at all levels and will be help drive deliverables across Banking and Financial Services Digital, Product and Fraud teams.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will work with our stakeholders to write, refine and drive requirements for existing and new initiatives. You will also help identify areas for improvement through data analysis and promote continuous improvement to enable us to achieve our strategic goals. You will also be helping the team with ensuring the quality of work being delivered is upheld, as well as sharing the responsibility of providing production support.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 10+ years of overall experience (4+ years of relevant Fraud Technology and / or cyber security technology)
  • 7+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role in an Agile digital environment, preferably within financial services.
  • experience in Cyber Security and/or fraud detection and prevention domain with exposure to technologies and vendors in this space
  • advanced problem-solving skills
  • strategic thinking and experience working directly with security engineers
  • excellent communication skills
  • excellent time management skills.
  • experience with architecting and deploying applications on the cloud (particularly AWS) is desirable
  • a fundamental understanding of software development processes and procedures
  • understand the value of incremental and iterative delivery
  • a focus on value delivery over processes and tools
  • the value of metrics and the story they tell
  • experience liaising with users, businesses, and technology teams to monitor and resolve ongoing user and technical issues
  • professional Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Master is desirable
  • familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is desirable
