This position is responsible for the regulatory program management and governance within the Information Services Group (ISG). The role is responsible for liaising with cross ISG stakeholders / Project Managers to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with other stakeholders and present the status report to ISG's Senior Management. S/He will partner with key internal stakeholders (Within ISG and ICG) to drive end-to-end program / project management for all regulatory programs and ensures Citi meets the Regulator's timelines and standard. The ideal candidate will have experience leading project management including tracking and reporting, process improvement and change management. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues across ISG team and outside. Knowledge and experience in Regulatory domain will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage ISG's regulatory governance meeting and regulatory program status reporting to ISG / ICG SMT, Steerco meetings and other reporting forums, including preparing materials, coordinating with project managers to gather status, and developing a compelling and clear presentation
  • Provide weekly / monthly / quarterly reports, monitoring against targets, project updates, etc. as required by management
  • Building materials for compelling presentations for stakeholders
  • Support / manage high priority regulatory projects across their lifecycle by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing requirements, project scope and planning, communicating project deliverables and working cross ISG team to implement the regulatory mandate within the timeline
  • Attend regulatory meetings as representative of the ISG organization on regulatory matters. Record meeting summaries and follow-up actions for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of Regulatory policies and requirements.
  • Define project scope and objectives, gather, analyze, validate and manage project requirements
  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact regulatory requirements and implementation framework through in-depth analysis and evaluation of regulatory mandate, systems and industry standards, and produce clear requirements documents using a structured analysis methodology
  • Liaise with relevant project stakeholders within the technology and business teams across ICG
  • Support the technical leads in planning, tracking and executions of the Regulatory deliverables and commitment
  • Maintain data and document repository tools such as SharePoint and other web-based applications to enable effective communication and information access control and to reduce email manual touchpoints.
  • Identifies risks, communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options
  • Effectively partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across ICG / ISG and Businesses to promote a more integrated approach to regulatory relations.
  • Drive tactical and strategic planning to ensure the program corrective actions plans are met. This includes identifications, documentation, reviews of multiple deliverables (ICG businesses, Internal Audit, Risk etc.) before distributing to Regulators on a regular basis
  • Maintain awareness of changing industry trends, competition and regulations that impact any phase of success of the lending business
  • This is a dynamic role and responsibilities within the PMO function will be assigned based on requirements


Essential Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in Project / Program management, strategy development and execution, ability to engage with several working groups, lead and manage simultaneous projects
  • A track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with technical and business management teams.
  • Self-initiate, work productively when unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects
  • Demonstrates strong cross functional leadership to aligning process, projects, and people to meet business goals in cross-functional team setting
  • Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills with demonstrated ability to transfer data into compelling presentations
  • Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including Agile project work
  • Experience in delivering cross asset Regulatory transformation / change and software development (SDLC) projects in Front Office and/or Operations Trading, Risk and Data Services
  • Demonstrates clear understanding of the drivers of performance and decision making to maximize results. Strategic thinker with proven ability to operationalize the strategy
  • Strong attention to detail in supporting management reporting with clear and concise data analysis and presentation


Desirable:
  • Strong IT experience, Financial markets product knowledge which includes knowledge of front-to-back trade flows processing and broad range of investment banking products and trade lifecycles
  • Subject matter expert in Regulatory Program Management
  • Business Domain knowledge (Capital Markets, Cash, Derivatives, Money Markets covering cross asset product groups Rates, FX, Credit, Equities, Commodities)


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
