About the Department

The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients' investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gather, interpret and report on data to promote analytics-driven decision making across Global Markets
  • Perform analysis, validation and verification of collated data for periodic MAS requests and during MAS inspections by working with SMEs
  • Provide support on execution of data analytics to enhance and streamline Dealer Conduct management processes
  • Identify data anomalies based on financial data concepts and seek clarifications with SMEs / IT
  • Handle queries and provide guidance to Front Office on compliance and governance issues, such as conflict of interest and personal trading
  • Ensure dealers' adherence to regulatory requirements, through conducting new dealer briefings, and monitoring completion of required papers, e-learnings and training hours
  • Conduct annual operational risk self-assessment for Global Markets divisions - identify key risks and perform required control testing, highlight control gaps and propose action plans


Job Requirements

  • University Degree required
  • Fresh Graduate may apply.
  • 4 to 7 years of working experience in a banking environment to be considered for senior role
  • Basic understanding of Treasury-related products and processes
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of financial data, as well as familiarity with the testing and implementation of data-related projects
  • Team player who can provide strong support and suggestions
  • Strong communication skills to manage various stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and be meticulous
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g. Java, VBA, SQL)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Qlik)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word)
