Job Description
Jacobs is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for Legal, Risk & Compliance to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment who will drive and deliver excellence in support of the corporate Legal, Risk Management and Ethics & Compliance Department as well as Corporate Fringe Accounting Group. We are looking for a team player with the desire to be an active, long-term contributor to the department and organization overall.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly financial reports and analysis
- Assists in updating financial data during the Corporate Planning and Forecasting process
- Performs month end activities
- Maintains in-house and overhead projects
- Ensures all deadlines are met
- Reviews invoices and expenses to determine proper classification, timing and recognition and initiates corrections if needed
- Reviews and analyzes actuarial reports
- Participates in the development and maintenance of instructions for Legal, Risk Management and ethics&Compliance Department
- Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Ensures compliance with Best Practices and Sarbanes-Oxley
- May be required to participate in internal and external audits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, equivalent major or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in an international finance environment will be an asset
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Very good knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications
- Analytical skills, accuracy and focus on details
- Effective time and tasks management skills to meet deadlines and assist team members in completing all other deliverables on time
- A self-starter who works effectively under instructions, guidance and direction from more senior-level staff and moderate supervision
