This FMCG company in Central Cambridge are currently looking for a temporary Accounts Payable clerk to join a well-established finance team to cover a period of absence for 3+ weeks. The successful candidate will have proven AP experience with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

Client Details

Based in central Cambridge this FMCG Company are in search of a Temporary AP Clerk to assist them during a busy period on a 3+ week assignment to match and process invoices and PO's. Looking for someone with prior AP experience able to start straight away


This Temporary AP Clerk will be reporting directly into the FC and responsibilities will include

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centres.
  • Posting of Invoices and cash allocation.


You will have proven ability to calculate, post and manage invoice figures and financials, have hands on experience within a similar AP role and available immediately to start
