Italian Financial Analyst

What will your role be in the team

  • Join a well established, dynamic and professional team with the goal to maximize the value of ExxonMobil’s diverse portfolio 
  • Analyze and explain what drives the financial and operating results of the Italian business
  • Report the financial data that will be reflected in the ExxonMobil Italian published external results
  • Provide process and analytical support to Business teams of the Italian local affiliates
  • Build and maintain good Interface with Italian and Budapest GBC contacts
  • Build and maintain up-to date knowledge on local accounting ITA GAAP updates 
  • Build knowledge of Upstream, Downstream and Chemicals businesses, systems, tools and processes
  • Identify, promote and provide financial expertise to improvement initiatives

 

What are we looking for

  • Minimum of Bachelor/Master degree in Business Economics /Accounting / Taxation or equivalent
  • Relevant work experience with a large multinational company and/or Big 4 accounting firm and/or SSC with a focus on reporting, business analysis, financial accounting, income tax compliance or payroll accounting (one or several of these) is an advantage. We are also looking for inexperienced and experienced professionals
  • Minimum of 3 semesters of accounting and financial reporting/controlling
  • CPA or similar credential preferred +/or equivalent knowledge or experience is advantage
  • Excellent Italian and fluent English written and verbal communications skills
  • Interest in long term career opportunities
  • Strong accounting, analytical and problem solving skills with high competency in MS-Excel
  • Precision and timely execution of tasks
  • Strong leadership skills with a commitment to develop and train team members, promote a collaborative work environment
  • Continues Improvement mindset to develop, implement, and sustain best practices to ensure superior service delivery and accuracy
  • Good communication and effective intrapersonal skills, including proven ability to develop strong professional internal and external relationships
  • Attention to accuracy and details also able to meet priorities and deadlines

  • Willingness to learn quickly and consistently to both achieve excellent results and to grow their own capabilities
  • Drive to take ownership and accountability for end-to-end processes including the ability to interpret complex technical information in a manner which is clearly understood by non-functional personnel
  • Able to work full-time (40 hrs/week)
