Management Accounts Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity for a full time Management Accounts Team Leader role based in Central Manchester. This role is a 14 month FTC with potentially opportunity to go permanent.

Description

The Duties include:

• Ensure the team produce profit and loss accounts in line with the approved month end timetable and all contracts are operating in conjunction with contract terms
• Review and prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure assets and liabilities are accurately recorded and understood and any risks or opportunities are identified and highlighted
• Responsible for ensuring all client invoices are accurate and issued within the agreed timescales
• Liaise and provide financial assistance to operational and site-based staff
• Lead and motivate all team members, ensuring the team operate effectively and to provide a platform for opportunity and growth.
• Deliver assigned project and adhoc work within agreed timescales, providing updates on progress.
• Produced monthly accounting reports for senior finance management team
• Coordinating and producing detailed financial data for year-end audits
• Review and monitor key controls within the team's area of responsibility, highlight areas of concern and take correction action.

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

• Have experience in management accounts as per above duties - Essential
• Be studying towards ACCA+CIMA - Essential
• Have excellent communication and organisation skills - Essential
• Be experience with leading a small team - Desirable
• Have a good level of Excel - Essential
