As a Payroll Manager, you will manage the day-to-day payroll activity of the UK and Ireland payroll centre; ensuring that payroll execution is carried out in a timely and accurate manner across all weekly and monthly payroll cycles.

Description

  • Complete the electronic payroll starter and leaver processes for staff on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Update employee records on the relevant payroll and time and attendance systems.
  • Continually update any changes in pay and employee information on Sage, by frequently reviewing the payroll tracker and leavers checklist.
  • Assisting with the implementation of any new payroll procedures, including policies and leading system enhancements.
  • Processing payroll for over 400 employees.
  • Payroll Business Partner service across the business, including dealing with internal and external queries at all levels.
  • Process pension contributions and upload the relevant data and information to our chosen providers

Profile

You will take a hands-on, can-do approach to every task you take on.

You will have experience managing the end to end payroll process and relevant experience with payroll systems.

You will have 2-4 years of management experience and the ability to manage staff.

You will pride yourself on your general knowledge of principles and practices within payroll and benefit administration and reporting.

Working experience using a web-based payroll provider.

You will have the ability to communicate with our employees and departments.

You will understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data, coupled with excellent organisation skills with an adept attention to detail.
