MARS Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a leading Financial Services in their search for for an individual to come on board to assist in the implementation of IFRS 17. Working alongside some highly regarded individuals in the financial services sector, this is a role which will give you an unprecedented level of executive exposure.
This is an excellent, long-term opportunity that would suit an individualwho is confident and able to liaise with various stakeholders across the business and has the technical background that would allow them to add value in this role as well.

In this role you will be responsible for;
- Assisting in the end to end configuration for the IFRS 17 solution
- Acting as a SME to provide technical advice and lead projects as related to IFRS 17
- Acting as a change manager and assisting with implementing changes to internal business processes
- Liaise with various stakeholders, both internal and external
- Conduct research and analysis regarding best practice
- Various BAU finance activities
Ideally the successful individual will have;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Accounting, Finance, Actuarial)
- Financial Services experience is essential - this role is specialised and need the relevant experience working with IFRS17
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to work with various stakeholders
- Trouble-shooter - we are looking for a 'solutions-focussed' individual. This role is so varied that you won't always have the answer but you will have an ability to think of a potential solution!
