With a number of new avenues and continued diversification, this is a role that could potentially take you to areas of the business that you would never had exposure to.
In this role you will;
- Deliver timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting on the financial performance and position of the business
- Manage and participate in the required month, quarter and year-end financial close and reporting activities to ensure accurate record keeping and reporting to stakeholders
- Maintain an environment of strong internal controls and financial stewardship
- Undertake ad-hoc projects to drive business improvement through operational initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and financial performance
- Manage the external audit process
- Cashflow forecasting
- Manage the relationship with group tax agents for the calculation of end of year tax positions and tax effect accounting
Ideally the successful candidate will be;
- CA qualified
- Experience in a large corporate or similar pharma business
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build, maintain and remain transparent with information sharing
- Healthcare/Retail experience as well as Pharma is highly regarded
