As a valued Corporate/Mixed Tax Senior-Assistant Manager you be providing support to the Head of Tax, West Country on various tax advisory projects whilst being responsible for a number of client relationships, supporting them on a variety of compliance matters. The role is a mixture of tax advisory and Corporate Tax compliance providing support to the Regions Partners, client facing staff and working closely with the Head of Tax on a variety of tax advisory projects such as, R&D claims, complex capital allowances claims, reorganizations, exit and succession planning, M&A work to name but a few. You will be provide support to the Corporate teams with respect to more complex Corporate Tax compliance matters, working closely with staff and clients to understand business developments, ensuring they are up to date with their compliance obligations and legislative changes, helping them assess the impact for them and keeping abreast of new opportunities. At this stage in your journey you will be reviewing more complex corporate tax returns and computations, ensuring the efficient and risk managed delivery, technical research on various tax advisory projects and assistance on the delivery thereof. The role requires someone who is responsible for complying with all internal risk management procedures.

In order to enhance your own personal development, you will have the opportunity to lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team and work closely with the Head of Tax, West Country. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best. As you become the mentor for the colleagues in the earlier part of their career journey, the ideal candidate will be ATT and/or CTA qualified with at least 1-2 years post qualification Corporate Tax/Mixed Tax experience in practice in order to work collaboratively with both our trainees, Managers and Partners alike. Part qualified candidates or ACCA/ACA candidates with appropriate Corporate Tax experience will also be considered as will those qualified by experience.
