Client Details

My client is a globally established listed engineering construction company that supports industrial, commercial and housing projects. With a focus on sustainable and cutting edge engineering solutions, the team is looking to hire a Project Accountant to join the finance team to oversee the full life cycle of projects.

Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:

• Be a key business partner between finance and operations to support project delivery across the full life cycle, including bidding of new projects
• Perform budget and forecast exercise through different project phases, communicate cost trends and insights to stakeholders
• Accurately recognise cost and revenue in accordance to accounting standards
• Analyse and monitor multiple project performance by developing matrices to track KPI indicators
• Recommend improvements to projects' financial health and advise on finance implication for contractual terms

Profile

• Degree qualified in Finance & Accounting with at least 5 years of working experience
• Advance excel experience required, familiar with application of complex formulas
• Analytical, able to perform strategic data interpretation simultaneous for multiple projects
• Technically strong to communicate financial data and address issues with stakeholders, confident to business partner with project managers independently
• Comes across driven, possesses an inquisitive mind to question, learn and develop solutions
