My client a large international private bank is on the search for a Financial Accountant to join the team and work directly with the Manager of Financial Control and Reporting. My client is looking for a newly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with a Financial Services background.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for key elements of all reporting across various UK entities
- Support the preparation of interim and year end financial packs and statutory accounts
- Working with the team and wider business to manage deadlines and processes required for the month end reporting
- Ownership of operating costs processes and reporting
- Responsibility for monthly Balance Sheet
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Support wider Finance team projects as required
Skills Required:
- A recently qualified accountant ACA or ACCA
- Keen to take ownership and get into detail of reconciliations and control processes
- Experience in financial services
- IFRS 9 experience is desirable
