The Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior role is mixed and varied role which will include tax, corporate finance and general business advisory work. 50% of your role will be focused toward an audit element.
We are looking for part and newly/recently qualified accountants (ACA or ACCA) with strong audit experience and excellent communication skills.

Description
The Audit & Accounts Senior duties include;
- Taking charge on senior audit engagements and ensure assignments are completed in an accurate and timely fashion
- Lead client audit engagements, which includes the planning, executing, and completing stages ensuring all compliance is in place and in line with regulatory standards
- Preparation of audit planning memorandum, programmes and budget in a timely manner
- Perform substantive testing and evaluate any error, risks or issues that arise
- Work closely with your team in accordance with time and budgets set
- Manage junior staff in developing their understanding of the regulations awareness and technical standards
- Prepare management letters and closing reports
- Ensure all client work is completed within applicable reporting deadlines and client requests
- Maintain client files, documentation and client confidentiality policies
- Work closely with Management to develop ongoing effective relationships with clients and ensure retention of business
For the Semi-Senior Role;
- Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships
- Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
- Assist senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premises
Profile
The successful candidate will be;
- ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Fully Qualified
- Minimum of 3 years audit experience
- Be a clear and concise communicator, both verbally and written
- Be comfortable with technology and software packages such as Microsoft excel, Xero, Sage, CCH, Caseware
- Enjoying building and maintaining client relationships
- Motivated and Ambitious, with clear plans on how to progress their career
