We’re recruiting for a forward-thinking Finance Analyst to join our Offer & Sourcing Finance team in a role-based in Paddington. You will report to the Planning & Reporting Manager and between you will manage a budget of c£140m which will require you to work closely with key colleagues to understand the needs of the business.

We’re looking for you to work with finance managers across our entities to prepare month-end management reporting, business partner our colleagues by preparing and presenting monthly P&Ls which provide detailed analysis on actuals to budget and play an active role in the headcount analysis of c1000 employees.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare monthly reporting, including analysis of actuals to budget submissions to Group FP&A
  • Prepare & present P&Ls monthly to key stakeholders
  • Analyse statutory profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow on a quarterly basis
  • Review headcount monthly and during forecast cycles
  • Support in dealing with queries from the Finance Managers across each location
  • Support the Planning & Reporting Manager in day-to-day capacity and during budget and forecasting cycles

Skills & Experience required:

  • Newly qualified accountant – CIMA/ACA/ACCA
  • Preparation of month-end reporting
  • Highly numerate with analytical skills to be able to analyse, evaluate and summarise large sets of data through excel to provide the key conclusions and insights, presenting these in a structured, clear and concise manner
  • Prior experience with headcount/payroll analysis would be an advantage
