The role Director of Internal Audit is located in the heart of Brussels. The candidate will be a crucial part of their Audit department, providing oversight and direction on how to improve the operations of the company. The candidate should be at ease with various insurance products including life and none-life products for both commercial and personal clients. The client is a well-known insurance company that provides services to customers throughout the world for products such as auto, travel and life. The current focus of their operations is to grow the business by focusing on various channels of service, and by sustainable growth now and in the future. Liaison with internal partners to successfully identify and analyse risks, and put steps in place to mitigate them Be the point of contact for various audit projects, manage competing priorities improve the audit experience, ensure the effectiveness of current policies Support continuous improvement, contribute and develop new initiatives Familiar with technology solutions to automate processes People manager, with ability to lead and train staff as required on relevant topics Execute audit plans including the annual audit plan and evaluation Strong communication skills, able to clearly summarize and communicate audit results +9 years of experience in an Auditing role Fluent in English, Fluency in Dutch or French is optional Strong Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the industry Knowledge of data analytical tools Professional designation would be a plus Great salary, with full benefits Company supports continuous learning and development Flexibility to work from home Be part of fast-growing business with international growth opportunities.
