Assistant Accountant

Description

As the Assistant Accountant you would be involved in:

• Completeness and accuracy of financial information through Royalty reconciliations / Profit share calculations in line with client contract

• Ensure Billing is invoiced accurately and Completely
• Reconciliation V Flash & R&A
• Proactively work with credit control, operations and the client to ensure invoiced debt is collected to terms
• Minimisation of overdue debt (no debt over 60 days)
• Cost of good is calculated and measured within venue expectations weekly/Monthly

• Gross margin improvements

• Purchasing compliance

• Theoretical margins

• Accuracy of results against forecast and budgets

• Ensure Ops teams have labour planners in place, and they are actively used

• Accuracy of results against forecasts and budgets

• Minimum out of period costs

• Ensure adequate financial controls are operating on site to minimise / eliminate risk of losses & theft

Profile

The successful candidate for the Assistant Accountant role will have the following attributes:

• Have completed their AAT or studying ACCA or CIMA
• Experience of Management accounting
• High numeric and analytical skills - excellent knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to analyse and evaluate information
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively plan and organise own work
• Full UK Driving Licence
