A career within Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for complex financial reporting issues. You’ll tackle client’s needs with a solution oriented approach that creatively addresses complex financial reporting problems for high profile transactions.
Job responsibilities and professional skills required:
- Accounting advisory (IFRS conversions, application of new IFRS standards, recommendations to accounting policies, transaction accounting including post deal accounting, carve out financial statements and general support with accounting standards change)
- Identifying and researching potential market opportunities, attracting new clients, expanding, maintaining and developing client relationships.
- Identify needs and priorities of existing clients in order to successfully offer new services
- Analyse data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies
- Make decisions on priority of issues and associated risks identified during fieldwork, and articulate and support position on key findings and recommendations within client work or other outputs/ deliverables
- Report to management about project results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities
- Coach and provide feedback to team members to stretch their capabilities in a controlled environment
What are we looking for:
- 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in professional services
- Can-do attitude, ability to support, train and coach others and work effectively in/manage the team
- Good presentation, communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to quickly understand large amounts of information and draw out hypotheses and key messages
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS)
- Naturally curious; be able to apply logic and problem solving to difficult business problems
- Comfort in understanding the impact of different operating models on commercial, financial and operational aspects of a business
- Self-starter, comfortable with uncertainty, thrives under pressure and able to flex working hours to meet deadlines
- Fluency and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and Bulgarian
- Relevant degree(s)
- Communication/presentation abilities
