Michael Page are working exclusively with an extremely enticing employer who have the capacity to bring a new part-time Management Accountant into their team. This could be the perfect role if you are a Management Accountant with experience utilising raw financial data to better-inform organisational decision-making, and you are looking for a role which provides greater flexibility.

Beginning initially for c3 days per week, you will have some say on which days & hours you work, both short-term and long-term, so this is the perfect opportunity to realign your work/life balance.

Description

• Assist Finance Business Partners in financial planning and reporting activities for the nominated Academic Institutions and/or professional services
• Preparing the monthly and annual management accounts including commentary, variance analysts and audit compliance
• Budgeting and forecasting, helping to prepare a robust 5 year business plan with the Dean and/or Head of Professional Service(s)
• Ensure effective management control through regular monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis of financial information with relevant budget holders
• Provide financial advice and management information to relevant budget holders
• Support the Financial Management Team in ad hoc project work and other related duties as required

Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
• Ability to liaise with wider teams to build good working relationships
• Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to work with large volumes of numerical data
