Accountant

Grenwellgleeson are recruiting for a no.1 Accountant position to work within a growing division of a worldwide manufacturing group based in North Birmingham.

Duties of the role will include:

· Lead accountant within the group

· Production of monthly management accounts

· Production of Statutory Accounts: to audit standard including drafting of R&A's

· Costing and margin analysis

· Production of information to support both commercial decisions and operational management

· Cash-flow reporting and forecasting

· Foreign currency hedging · Balance Sheet reconciliations

· Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers

· Preparation of Annual Budgets

· Periodic reporting to Senior Debt Lenders

· Some Company Secretarial: filing of Confirmation Statements, Insurance, etc

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

· Qualified

· Experience commensurate with role but ability and potential are key

· Must have statutory accounting experience

· Very driven / motivated

· Highly numerate

· Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel skills

· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

· Commercial acumen

· Good technical skills including an up to date knowledge of accounting standards
