Chief Accountant (Manufacturing - Dong Nai)

Client Details

Our client is a prestigious international manufacturer of plastic component which has been providing excellent quality to its customers. The company is now looking for a Chief Accountant to be fully responsible for all its accounting and finance activities at its newly built factory.

Description

- Supervise the financial accounting operations and monitor all datas on ERP system:
+ Ensure all supporting documents are collected and compiled
+ Monitor and record financial transactions according to company accounting treatment and local regulations.
+ Perform period accounting closing such as reconciliations and journal entries
+ Prepare tax filings and reports accurately and timely
- Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing required documentations
- Manage statutory account, including tax compliance and legal/license updates (if any)
- Manage customers' accounts, including AR monitoring, reconciliation and commercial contract
- Evaluate accounting systems and provide recommendations for its improvements to adapt the changes of tax and accounting regulations
- Contribute to set up of all procedures ensuring an efficient internal control
- Other assignments from general manager & Group level Finance Controller

Profile

Audit background is preferred, but not a must

Vietnamese nationality with Chief Accountant Certificate is a must

At least 5-8 years of working experience, garments/textile trading and manufacturing or similar business experience is preferred

Excellent business English (written and spoken) communication

Bachelor/Master of Accounting/Finance/Auditing, CPA or ACCA is a strong plus

Possess deep knowledge of Vietnamese accounting law and tax regulations, as well as accounting software

Detail-oriented, open-minded thinking, can-do attitude, strong leadership
