Your field of responsibility

Join us as an Audit Director in Finance team within our cutting edge audit function, where you will manage portfolio of audits to ensure efficient and high quality execution, while developing staff on your audit team through coaching and mentoring. As part of the team, you will have access to advanced auditing capabilities and will also work in close collaboration with Heads of Audit to define and implement a program of continuous risk monitoring which contributes to assurance and future audit planning. This role also involves direct interaction with the Bank’s senior management connected to your portfolio, where you will be encouraged to act as a trusted partner and use your independence and influencing skills to support the improvement of the Bank’s risk and control environment.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • At least an undergraduate degree and extended experience in Financial Services industry
  • 12+ years of proven work experience relating to audit /accountancy in the Financial Services industry (Big 4 or Internal Audit banking expertise)
  • Deep understanding of CFO function processes in a banking environment (financial accounting and reporting, regulatory reporting, capital and liquidity, tax), and key risk and controls frameworks such as SOX 404
  • Outstanding analytical skills and precision in audit and project delivery, which when paired with an understanding of accounting, financial reporting and regulatory topics sets you apart
  • Extensive experience with leading and managing international teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and time management skills which enable you to quickly gain trust and deliver effectively towards deadlines
