Client Details

An exciting new to the market organisation are seeking a permanent Finance Manager.

Description

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Ensure the timely and accurate production of the Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet
• Commentary and analysis of the main monthly cost and sales variances against budget
• Sales ledger management including credit control, liaising with customers including implementing price increases
• Sales and purchase invoices, bank reconciliation, payroll journals, stock journals and foreign currency transactions/forward contracts
• Calculation of relevant accruals, prepayments, deferred income
• Analysis and review of costs and charges eg shipping, logistics, stock etc
• Managing invoice discounting processes and reconciliations
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely basis
• Preparation of VAT, Intrastat, etc
• Developing controls and procedures and ensuring all transactions are reconciled
• Assisting with the year end statutory accounts
• Support in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Cashflow forecasting

Profile

• Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant or QBE
• Experience working for an SME and end to end finance role
• FMCG, retail or online experience desirable.
• Very good proficiency in Excel
• Experienced and high level of proficiency in Sage accounting
• Happy working from home and in office
