Your field of responsibility

Join us as a Finance Manager in Group Finance. You will primarily be responsible for Governance and oversight of Economic Sharing Agreements (ESAs) globally. ESAs are internal agreements to share economics such as revenue between the divisions or legal entities of Credit Suisse. You will govern the Global ESA Framework and coordinate the annual framework reviews. Additionally, you supervise all contracts ensuring they are reviewed to a global standard and by the appropriate functions to ensure teamwork across CS business areas happen legally and at arm’s length. You will coordinate and support group-wide major Economic Sharing Agreements (ESAs), i.e. assisting with the processes of creation, maintenance and termination of these contracts between the Divisions/Legal entities of Credit Suisse. You will also be the Chair of the monthly ESA Governance call and prepare meeting materials. This includes the preparation of a Reporting suite for ESAs from the General Ledger considering any analytics that are needed. This also entails the refinement and optimization of processes to boost efficiency and improve controls with performance of monthly/quarterly/annual processes controls around ESAs. A further task is the coordination of the Quarterly and Annual Risk assessment process. The management of the associated infrastructure and tools also falls in your field of responsibility.

You will be a Subject Matter Expert in Group Finance that interacts with colleagues regularly across the globe. As a member of this small team, you will primarily collaborate with divisional finance teams, and various subject matter experts in Tax and General Counsel across all regions. Your skills and experience

We are looking for an open and positive personality with a go-getter attitude. To succeed in this role, you need to have great interpersonal and communication skills combined with a strong analytical approach. In addition, you will need to balance different topics simultaneously. Therefore, organization is key. You will need to have an understanding of General Ledger processes, Accounting and the ability to perform analytics with unstructured data.

  • A university degree or an equivalent educational background with an Accounting qualification or familiarity with Accounting standards and General Ledger processes
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience, preferably in financial services, however candidates from other industries would be considered
  • Sophisticated user of MS Excel (e.g. ability to create VBA macros) and PowerPoint
  • Analytics experience working with large datasets and building financial reports
  • Ability to handle multiple exciting priorities and deadlines
