Management Accountants Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing global business in the permanent role of Management Accounts Assistant. The role will be based at their beautifully located Liverpool City Centre offices with the current option to work 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
The main purpose of the Assistant Management role is to support the Management Accounts Team in a broad range of activities to ensure accuracy of the general ledger and produce accurate internal and external reporting.
Key Duties:
Day to day and month end support
Balance sheet reconciliations
Involvement in auditing and improving processes and controls
Business analysis to assist in understanding financial performance and key trends
Evaluating and analysing business performance across a range of areas and initiatives
Ad-hoc reporting to enable the senior management team to understand commercial performance against key levers and KPIs
Work with business partners to support the preparation and analysis of plans and forecasts
Investigate variances in expected financial performance
Work on ad hoc projects as and when needs arise
Experience and Skills required:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with good attention to detail
Pragmatic and proactive approach to problem solving effectively
You will have great time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced changing environment
AAT full or part-qualified or similar
Strong relationship building skills
Utilise data/information to help to identify and forecast trends, opportunities and risks
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
