Our client, a well known & growing organisation based in Sutton are looking for an interim Payroll Assistant to join their Accountancy team
Payroll Assistant - Sutton
- Assist or Process of the monthly Payroll's including accurate input of all data into the Payroll system (Select Pay) in accordance with statutory and contractual requirements.
- Assist with entering variable overtime and expenses payments.
- Assist or Process of accurate input of regular/ad-hoc payroll adjustments by the required payroll deadlines.
- Liaise with Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll Manager in cases where payroll input is incorrect for remedial action to maintain accurate employee records.
- Process emergency manual payments including complex calculations as required.
- Assist with reporting from payroll in line with HR/Payroll and business requirements, producing Payslips, P45's.including statutory year end returns and P60's.
- Assist or Prepare and send monthly payroll reports to Schools for payroll sign off.
- Assist or Prepare BACS authorisation forms.
- Support the Payroll Team with all additional Payroll and Pension Administration requirements.
- Monitor generic email accounts daily, log and resolve payroll queries as they arise within the timeframe specified.
- Assist with any other ad-hoc payroll duties as required by the business.
A successful candidate will have strong Excel skills & be available on short notice
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
