Your field of responsibility

This is your chance for an ambitious position in the area Basel Measurement and Reporting team in Zurich with hubs in New York and Zurich, as well as regional offices in London and Singapore. The group is responsible for measuring and reporting the firm’s Swiss regulatory capital and balance sheet. You get the outstanding possibility to work on an on-call contract with irregular working hours, which can be ideally agreed with your studies. You work in a dedicated and highly committed team that is part of a dynamic and diverse environment.

  • Position on call with flexible working hours (during normal office hours) and irregular assignment periods on an hourly payment

Your skills and experience

You are currently enrolled at a university or equivalent institution with focus on finance, accounting and controlling. You have a general interest in regulatory topics such as the Basel Framework.

  • Strong communication and social skills, the ability to handle demanding business partners, structured work style and willingness to help
  • You enjoy assisting in preparation of weekly and month end reporting of capital requirements and balance sheet. Additionally, you get the chance to do ad-hoc preparation of financial reports and analysis
  • You are doing administrative tasks efficiently and with a high quality
  • You are proficient in English and have good written and oral language skills in German
  • Excellent competency using MS Excel, a strong attitude for working with numbers and excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Your goal is to continuously improve your working environment and your analytical skills and you are highly motivated person with a positive personality and enjoy to collaborate with a team and flexible working arrangements
