Indirect Tax Manager

We are looking to bring on board a Tax Manager to join our International Tax Team here at Enstar where you will take on the responsibility of the day-to-day management of the Indirect Tax team along with the compliance and advisory obligations across the EU and International regions.

As well as being technically strong across indirect taxes (VAT & IPT), you will be proactive, flexible and able to demonstrate proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Communication is an important part of this role as you will need to communicate effectively within the finance department, other relevant parts of the business, external advisors and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management and mentoring of a small team
• Indirect Tax Compliance including VAT & IPT returns and liaising with external advisors
• Managing the Tax Governance including reviewing the tax strategy
• Providing Indirect Tax advisory support to the wider business

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Strong experience of UK and European VAT regimes within a financial services organisation
• Experience of liaising with senior stakeholders within the business.
• Comfortable working within a dynamic business model
• Experience of dealing with international taxing authorities and external advisors.

You will be ACCA qualified with experience gained in practice or in house with exposure to financial services, ideally insurance.
