A BA resource is required to support the FINMA PB project deliveries. This role will cover the assessment, requirements documentation and user acceptance testing for any external report changes coming from the regulator, as well as to meet the needs of BMR for the extensive work required to improve the control and governance framework in this FINMA reporting area. The scope of the current project covers adapting the RWA calculation of the PB business for changes in rules and new business initiatives, enhancing controls and supporting the delivery of a variety of third party projects (eg IWM, Loan factory, APAC ETD) which have an impact on the BMR PB area. . A Zurich based BA resource is required to make an analysis of the requirements, define the solution and test to ensure a successful delivery of these requirements. Key business and IT stakeholders are based in Zurich

Finance Change delivers projects for the CFO Division of Credit Suisse. Within the Finance Change organization this team delivers regulatory driven projects and projects which improve the capital management and efficiency of the bank. The corresponding Finance Change team size in the area of regulatory projects is at the moment 28 staff. The team is located across Zurich, India and the US and comprises of mix of both internal and external resources. Furthermore heavy interactions are required with the Finance, Risk and IT teams, which are located in Zurich, Lausanne, Pune and Singapore  Remote Working? Yes 

This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.

Your skills and experience

The role is to support the Regulatory Reporting work stream of the Capital Strategic Alignment program. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the BMR business stakeholders to define any reporting application changes that are needed as a result in the change in IT infrastructure. Additionally they will need to define & execute user acceptance test cases to cover the significant scope of regression testing which is to be performed.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • Consistent track record (7+ years) as business analyst within the banking sector 
  • Comprehensive experience in regulatory reporting and financial accounting (balance sheet analysis, P&L, capital calculations, RWA (Risk Weighted Assets)
  • Technical knowledge including Data Warehousing (SQL – analysis and testing will be performed, compiling basic queries) 
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Excel – (Pivot table, V-Look Up, Formulas)

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of regulatory reporting tools (Axiom is used at CS).
  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes and corresponding IT solutions
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player
  • Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand regulatory requirements 
  • Atlassian Jira knowledge
  • Appropriate business education within the financial accounting and regulatory reporting subject 
  • Ability to work under pressure, high level of flexibility and be able to handle multiple priorities and assignments with a proactive approach
  • An open, communicative personality with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • German language knowledge will be a benefit
