Objectives of the Position
- Responsible for customer's credit risk management activities for assigned customer/country portfolio following global/regional guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure deliveries meeting requirements defined in KPIs for process efficiency, effectiveness and quality control.
- Provide back-up for other team members and contribute to best practices sharing in the team
- Support Senior Analyst and Team Lead in process improvement activities, digitalization, and other required tasks
- To manage following credit management tasks on behalf of all BASF legal entities based on market principle
- Act as Financial Gatekeeper to validate and approve new customer or any changes for existing customer include the agreed terms of payment
- Coordinate with end user in case of further information required
- Maintain the credit master data in FSCM
- Checking regularly that customer portfolio is up-to-date, identifying inactive customers as well as carrying out deactivations by informing the responsible master data team and by changing the customer information in FSCM
- Obtain necessary information needed to perform risk assessment to be shared to Senior Analyst (include external credit rating and customer data)
- Credit Limit validity monitoring and manage extension
- Review and manage credit blocked sales orders on daily basis
- Decide on the release of blocked orders and obtaining necessary approvals (if required, depends on agreement)
- Monitor CCRM KPI and trend developments
- Provide necessary reporting and commentary for country, regional, and global on or before deadline in compliance with reporting requirements
- Monitor credit risk of customers (limit usage, BASF Risk Rating, sales, etc.)
- Following up of outstanding invoices and unresolved dispute items
- Monitor overdue amounts and proactively improve overdue debt with close monitoring; escalate if the customer's overdue situation becomes worsened
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting required by BUs or relevant stakeholders
- Provide back-up for other team members and contribute to best practices sharing in the team
- Support Senior Analyst and Team Lead in process improvement activities, digitalization, and other required tasks
- Professional qualification in Finance (e.g. ACCA, CPA, etc.) or Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year in Credit Management Function and/or Finance and Controlling.
- Good business acumen and analytical skills
- Good at timely decision making
- Work with high self-motivation, high reliability and responsibility, dedicated for outstanding performance
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong collaboration and communication skill, high integrity
- Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP and Business Warehouse, Data Analytic tools (PowerPivot, PBI, Tableau), interested in digitalization trend. Knowledge in FSCM is an advantage
- Working hours will follow ANZ time zone which is from 6AM until 3PM
