Description
Job duties includeAnalysing and preparing financial statements, including profit-and-loss statements and cash flow statementsManaging records and receiptsReconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactionsProcessing invoices and transactions including purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger, payroll journals, general journals, bank posting; and helping resolve any related issuesBeing a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting mattersFinancial analysis to support business decisionsMonitor and process expenses and co-ordinate the management of company credit cardsAssisting in payroll activities office and HR dutiesPreparing documents for internal and external auditsDeveloping relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue & Customs.Assisting with the preparation of regulatory reports and certificates in compliance with regulations and instructionsProfile
QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent5 to 10 years of experience in bookkeeping and preparing financial statementsComfortable with performing the above duties with prior experience.Asset Management industry experience (or a Financial Services firm of a similar nature - understanding of the business activites essential)Experience in a similar sized, growing firm (c.30-60 people)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to analyse and solve problemsAbility to interact with colleagues at all levels throughout the companyAbility to perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasksAbility to work under pressure and intensive deadlinesAbility to prioritize work under pressureAbility to work in a self-directed mannerStrong Microsoft Excel and Word skillsJob Offer
Looking to pay between £45,000-£65,000 with benefits depending on experience.
