Working closely with the Sales Director, Retail Operations and Regional Sales Managers to provide quality financial analysis to aid decision making, driving and improving store profitability and staff productivity.To clearly communicate analysis to exec members in a clear and concise manner in weekly trading meetings and monthly performance reviews,developing processes to facilitate profit driving behaviour across the store estate.

Client Details

I am assisting a client based in the Warrington area. A global retail company are currently growing their Finance Business Partnering team due to organic growth within the business.

They are one of Europe's largest retailers and are going through a period of growth due to investment into the business.

Description

  • To develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Deliver high quality, actionable insight to retail and operations team.
  • Develop the weekly and monthly target setting process with commercially at the forefront of mind.
  • Attend and support the sales director and regional managers at monthly regional board meetings
  • Develop recommendations as to how retail and / or trading propositions should be adjusted to drive improved
  • performance.
  • Attend weekly trading meetings to discuss and challenge the Retail arm of the business
  • Responsible for measurement of key trading initiatives and KPI's across retail
  • Produce annual and periodic sales forecaststo aidin the annual budget and forecast process
  • Develop Commission and Bonus models for store colleagues
  • Work collaboratively alongside Logistics Business Partner and Ecomm Business Partner to further the Omni channel strategy.
  • Promotional profitability analysis to include the promotional items & the wider halo effect including footfall drivers

Profile

  • Ability to turn complex and large data sets into simple, actionable insights and explain complex analysis to non-technical stakeholders
  • Essential: Advanced Excel skills
  • Essential: experience in retail and commercial understanding of key commercial drivers and where/how insight can drive decision making
  • Preferable-use of data visualisation tooling (Power BI, Tableau)
