Senior Transactional Finance Manager

A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Senior Transactional Finance Manager role based in Stockport with hybrid working.

Description

The duties include:

• Oversee the transactional team across purchase and sales ledger and credit control

• Maximising team capacity through efficient distribution of workload and management

• Develop a full understanding of all aspects of purchase ledger and sales ledger, and how they operate to enable management of the team and provision of hands on support as required

• Co-ordinate credit control activity, including chasing of debts for a range of customers, and supporting credit control activity carried out in the wider Finance team

• Understand and manage the debit note process and associated accounting and reconciliations

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Responding to day to day escalated queries

• Reviewing and authorisation of weekly payment runs

• Work with the Financial Accountant to support the completion of key period end reconciliations and cashflow forecast

Job Offer

This role is looking to pay up to £40,000 plus Bonus plus Hybrid working
