Robert Walters are pleased to have partnered with a leading practice firm based in Guildford, who are looking to add a Business Tax Senior to their growing delivery team.
As an organisation, our client provides a wide range of tax and consulting services to a broad range of companies, from quoted multinational groups to owner managed businesses. As a Senior, this role will focus on tax advisory and tax compliance services and will be responsible for reporting to and supporting the Manager and Partner group on larger projects as required.

As a Senior, this role will focus on tax advisory and tax compliance services and will be responsible for reporting to and supporting the Manager and Partner group on larger projects as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Drafting tax clearances and tax reports
- Technical research
- Preparing business tax computations/tax returns
- Preparing election control sheets and client review sheets
- Reviewing Alphatax/Taxpoint lists to ensure all relevant prompts are cleared and deadlines met
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence including responding to enquiries
- Preparing billing analyses and draft fee notes
- Ensuring relevant client deadlines are met
Experience and qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent) and/or tax advisor (CTA)
- Significant corporate tax experience gained within the practice and/or industry
- Technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work
- Drive and ambition to move upwards within the business
