Financial Accountant

Badenoch + Clark are partnering a global business to recruit for a Financial Accountant to join a large and growing head office finance function. The ideal applicant with be actively studying ACCA, ACA or CIMA, though QBE's with the right experience will also be considered.

Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Reporting and working as part of the wider finance function you will have responsibility for ensuring the financial accounting ledgers are maintained to a high standard, enabling high quality financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:
*Month-end close of general ledgers
*Review of P&L and balance sheet to ensure all correct postings included
*Management of accruals, prepayments and other balance sheet accounts
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Posting of month end journals
*Assistance with completion of annual statutory accounts and audit
*Assistance with internal audits
*Assistance with statutory and corporate tax submissions.

Key skills / experience:
*Part qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA
*Proven experience gained within a similar Financial Accounting role
*Exposure to working in a large global business would be highly beneficial
*Strong Excel and ERP skills
*Excellent communication skills and able to balance multiple priorities.
